Home office
My work space needed a bit of a cleaning and re-organization.
I started by editing my craft supply wall - sending yarn to my sister for her holiday knitting, giving some to Madison for future projects, but mainly just organizing into labeled bins.
Then, I measured. This is something new and different for me. I typically make impulse purchases and hope for the best, but the space is really right down here, so I figured I'd give measuring a try!
I figured out that I could fit a second desk in front of the electric panel, but it would need to move up/down easily for access. I also spent a lot of time looking for a sewing cabinet that could hold the sewing machine, accessories AND work as a table extension. Amazon for the win - and it's on wheels, so I can store it up close to the closet. Editorial note, the closet is a utility closet that we don't access on a regular basis.
Most of the items have been packed away for the better part of 2 years during different construction projects, so this is the first time that I've had everything out, accessible, organized and available to use since 2019!! Plus, I was able to store most things away so that the second desk area can be used for homework, joint projects, tutoring meetings and whatever else comes up!
I'll link everything I can find, but feel free to ask questions, if I miss something! Please note I started the design process with the expensive products (Desk 1 + Chair 1) and as it's evolved and gotten more and more use, I've changed my perspective!
